Used Valtra tractors
Based in Äärekoski, Finland, Valtra began manufacturing tractors in 1951, though its history dates as far back as the 1800s. Previously known as Valmet, the company became part of the US-based AGCO Corporation in 2004. Today, it remains the most popular agricultural machinery brand in Scandinavia and is a global market leader, particularly in Europe and Latin America.
A new tractor rolls off the line at Valtra’s state-of-the-art Suolahti production facility every 12 minutes. Hardly surprising, then, that this comparatively small company has made big waves in the agricultural industry, including by picking up an impressive series of industry awards in recent years.
In 2018, the Valtra T254 Versu secured the prestigious Tractor of the Year title and the Best Design award at the Agritechnica trade fair in Germany. It received particular praise for its powerful performance, modern functionalities and stylish design.
The Valtra G135 Versu followed in its footsteps, winning the Best Utility title at the 2021 Tractor of the Year awards. While its short wheelbase provides excellent manoeuvrability in farm yards, the G135 is also ideally suited to intensive front-loader work.
The Valtra tractor range
Valtra offers a diverse range of tractors, from specialised ultra-compact models to big beasts capable of lugging massive attachments over rough terrain. Let’s take a brief look at the product range:
