Named Machine of the Year 2014 and Tractor of the Year 2014 at the Agritechnica trade fair, the CLAAS Axion 800 series has a distinguished pedigree. Relaunched in 2017 with a range of modern functions and assistance systems, the CLAAS Axion 850 combines powerful performance with intelligent solutions.

It is fitted with an FPT 6.7-litre, six-cylinder engine that has a maximum output of 265 hp and delivers up to 1132 Nm of torque. With a choice of CMATIC continuously variable transmission or HEXASHIFT powershift transmission, the CLAAS Axion 850 can operate at speeds from 500 m/hour to 50 kph.

Tractors in the Axion 800 series feature a narrow, wasp-waist front axle that provides excellent stability and facilitates a tight steering angle for maximum manoeuvrability. Additionally, the long wheelbase distributes the tractor’s weight effectively across both axles for a comfortable ride and excellent tractive power.

CLAAS has installed CEMOS systems in its Axion 800 series to squeeze every ounce of power out of the tractors’ engines. Optimised engine performance increases the overall work rate, which translates to higher efficiency and reduced fuel consumption. The DOC and SCRoF units integrated in the exhaust system also ensure compliance with the Stage V emissions regulation.

In the spacious cab, the expansive front and side windows and convex rear window provide an excellent view of attachments and surrounding terrain. The CLAAS Axion 850 comes with the CIS cab as standard, which includes a multi-function armrest with various controls. The upgraded CEBIS cab features touchscreen terminals and ergonomic CMOTION lever.
