CLAAS Axion 950

The CLAAS Axion 950 is one of the most powerful tractors in the German manufacturer’s hugely popular Axion range. At one time, it was also the largest conventional tractor on the market. The first generation of the AXION 900 series was named Machine of the Year in the ‘Large Tractors’ category at the Agritechnica trade fair in 2011.

A revamped version of the CLAAS Axion 900 series was launched in 2017, including a new flagship model – the CLAAS Axion 960 . Today, the CLAAS Axion 950 still boasts outstanding pulling and lifting power, especially given its relatively compact frame. It also includes a number of features and technologies developed for the top-of-the-range Xerion series.

The latest version of the CLAAS Axion 950 tractor has an FPT 8.7-litre, six-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 410 hp and maximum torque of 1820 Nm, while the rear hitch has an outstanding lifting capacity in excess of 11 tonnes. Additionally, the innovative CMATIC continuously variable transmission enables stepless speed adjustments from 0.05 to 50 kph. These factors combined make the Axion 950 suitable for everything from precise field work on challenging terrain to dynamic road transports with heavy loads.

The air-conditioned cab, which features four-point suspension for a more comfortable ride, is available with a choice of CIS+ or CEBIS interiors. The CIS+ cab focuses on straightforward, intuitive operation, while the CEBIS cab features an array of advanced, high-end functions and comfort options, including the CEBIS display terminal and headland management functions.
